The moon

Come fly with us

Audi supports the Part-Time Scientists to make the Audi Lunar quattro ready for the challenges of the moon. The rover needs to successfully overcome three main tasks so the Part-Time Scientists and Audi will have a chance to win the Google Lunar XPRIZE.

  1. Land safely on the moon 01

    Land safely on the moon

There are 384.000 kilometres between the earth and the moon. Once the Audi Lunar quattro leaves this distance behind, it has to land safely on the moon.

  2. Drive 500 metres on the moon 02

Once the landing is completed safely, the Audi Lunar quattro tries to prove that for quattro all conditions are perfect conditions.

  3. Send HD-Images to the earth 03

The Audi Lunar quattro is equipped with high resolution cameras and will show the moon in a way it has not been seen before.

"For us it's about high engineering ingenuity, not the prize money."
